Data Scientist-Process Industrial（Honeywell Connected Enterprise）

Locations: Shanghai, China

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and solution teams in vertical industry units in Honeywell and global data analytics solutions to define and develop customer specific IIoT solutions with data analytics as core.
• Leverage technical know-how and domain knowledge of Honeywell experts and customers to define, design and develop industrial data analytics algorithms/models to operate on the right data sets
• Lead the pre-sale engagement from industrial data analytics perspective and implement the solutions during the project delivery
• Develop and deploy data science based analytical algorithms on both backend and the device network edge
• Build strong industrial data science capability by teaming and collaborating with other team members, partners and customers

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or other relevant degree
• Strong experience working in data analytics and practice data science in an industrial setting to solve industrial problems for 3-5 years
• Fluency in a programming or scripting language (e.g. Python, R, SAS, JMP) for fast prototyping
• Significant knowledge of core library and common design patterns, such as Pandas, Sklearn, Tensorflow, Keras, Numpy, Pytorch, Caffe, XGBClassifier, Matplotlib, Seaborn, etc.
• Proficiency with various data analytics tools and methods
• Knowledge and experience of selecting the right method and approach to solving specific problems using industrial data analytics tools and algorithms

Additional Qualifications:

• Ability of simultaneously working on multiple projects, with small teams of data analytics professionals
• Ability to harvest data analytics assets to build reusable common building blocks
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate across time zones and cultures
• Excellent written and oral communicator
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel up to 25% on a regular basis
